Ingredients
  

  • 300 gms Raw Chicken
  • For frying Edible Oil
  • 5-6 Black Peppercorns
  • 2 Cinnamon
  • 2-4 cloves
  • 4-5 cardamoms
  • 2 tsp Coriander seeds crushed
  • 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 broken Dried Red chilies
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • as required Salt
  • 1 tsp Red chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Degi mirch Powder
  • 1 cup cornflour
  • 1/2 cup Maida or All purpose flour
  • Handful Chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions
 

  • First of all, take a kadhai and heat it up on a medium flame. Here, we will saute whole spices without using oil. So, add all the above mentioned whole spices ( peppercorn, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, coriander seeds), garlic cloves and ginger, broken chilies.
  • Toss everything for about 5 minutes on a low to medium flame. Be sure that garlic does not burn. Otherwise, it will destroy the flavor of the fried chicken.
  • Turn off the heat and take it out on a plate and allow it to cool down for a while. After some time, blend it into a smooth ground powder and keep it aside.
  • Now, take a big bowl and add washed boneless chicken and yogurt into it, ground powder, salt to taste, red chili powder, degi mirch powder and the prepared ground powder into it and mix well.
  • Now, add both cornflour and maida and some edible oil into it and mix it well. Use hand to mix it properly.
  • Keep the marination aside for about 2-3 hours in the fridge.
  • After 3 hours, take it out and let it rest. Now in a kadhai, pour a right amount of edible oil and allow it to heat up.
  • Now, slowly and carefully start drowning marinated chicken in the oil and fry it till it is golden brown.
  • Take the fried chicken out on a tissue or absorbent paper.
  • Serve fried chicken with mint chutney or ketchup and onion rings on the sides.
